Amherst students joined community members to tour the state capitol, a military museum, and the state historical museum on a sunny October day. The entourage was treated to a view of Madison from the capitol dome. They also toured the Supreme Court chambers as well as the various rooms where legislators conduct their daily business. It proved to be a great learning experience and a day that will long be remembered.
