Freshman Aiden Winn and Junior Andrew Bandy are key contributors to the Pacelli United Lacrosse Team.

Winn’s father played a role in getting him started in this increasingly popular sport. “I started lacrosse because of my dad, he played as he grew up in Maryland. When we found out Stevens Point had a team, I decided to try it out. I have played a total of seven years of lacrosse and over those seven years I believe I have grown as a player on and off the field,” said Winn.

A returning player, Bandy plays for the love of the game. Said Bandy, “I first started when I was 12 years old, playing until I was 14, I then quit until joining back this year after a coach personally reached out to me to join the team. I Immediately fell back in love with the sport as I enjoy running the ball up the field. This year our varsity ended our regular season 5 and 7 overall and our JV was 5 and 1. I had fun in every game without caring about the score, win or lose.”
