The Falcons are heading on the road in week six after a taking a 35-8 win over the Loyal/Greenwood Football Team. This week, they’re heading an hour west to face the Spencer/Columbus Catholic Rockets. The Rockets are coming into week six 1-4 on the year, with their lone win being against Pittsville, 28-22.
Senior Sam Stuczynski was the big name in the win against Loyal/Greenwood. Stuczynski ran for 179 yards and two touchdowns on 24 attempts, making him the main runningback option after Sophomore Ayden Nerdahl went down with an injury in week four. Junior Quarterback Michael Glodowski also had a good night in the air, going 5/16 for 127 yards and two touchdowns, as well as on the ground, rushing for 24 yards and a touchdown.
Jack Hoeper is the main runningback to watch for when it comes to the Rockets. Hoeper scored the only two touchdowns the team got in their 14-46 loss against Wittenberg-Birnamwood. Hoeper ran for 43 yards on 16 attempts. Devlin Timmler is also the main quarterback that will be getting the snaps on Friday night, going 6/13 last week for 60 yards.
Kickoff is set for 7pm at Spencer High School, so make sure to grab the camo attire and make the trip out west to cheer on the Falcons!
