What are the Amherst High School’s staff up to for spring break this year?

Well, one of our Spanish teachers, Profe Van Sluys is planning on traveling around Wisconsin and visiting the state parks. She’s so excited to be able to spend time with friends and family, especially with the good weather coming up. 

Mr. Linde isn’t planning on anything big, but is looking forward to getting work done around the house. Even though he doesn’t have any big plans for spring break, he does have a fun trip to Mexico planned in March. 

As for some of our English teachers, Mrs. Slattery and Mr. Lynch, they be spending their spring break taking care of their kids. Mrs. Slattery wants to go on a trip up to Wisconsin Dells or Minneapolis with the family. She is also excited for next year’s spring break when she gets to bring her kids to watch the Milwaukee Brewer train. Even though she loves spending time with her kids, her ideal spring break would have to be in Puerto Rico or Peru, with two whole days just to herself with no responsibilities.

Mr. Lynch is planning on spending time with his wife, puppy, and soon to be new baby boy. Baby Lynch will be born mid-February, so Mr. Lynch will have his hands full with his newborn. Someday Mr. Lynch plans on spending spring break in Door County and hitting up Wild Tomato Pizza for lunch, shopping the strip in Fish Creek, and finishing off in Wood Orchard Market in Egg Harbor to buy some pies.
