Seventy-three students from Amherst High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter competed in Regionals at Edgar High School on Sat., Feb. 1, with 38 students qualifying for the state meet slated for March 31-April 1.
Members competed against 600 students from 30 different schools, including D.C. Everest, Marshfield, Rhinelander, and SPASH, as FBLA competes geographically instead of by enrollment.
Students competed by taking a test, presenting, speaking, or interviewing on a business-related topic and needed to place third or higher in their event to qualify for state. Amherst placed second overall as a team.

- International Business (Isabelle Gliniecki and Olivia Helgemo)
- Management Information Systems (Michael Glodowski, Sully Perkins, and Logan Hintz)
- Social Media Strategies (Olivia Davis, Hailie Portmann, and Claire Lewallen)
The following team placed second:
- Graphic Design (Mia Rockefeller, Presley Voss, and Hollie Singer)
The following teams placed third:
- Banking and Financial Systems (Addelaide Lemar and Delaney Conner)
- Introduction to Business Presentation (Addison Allen and Ellie Laws)
- Parliamentary Procedure (Garrison Gordon, Otto Schultz, Noah Spoelstra, Sam Stuczynski, and Trekk Tubbs)
