“Thank you.”
Are there two words that are more underappreciated in this culture and this world?
With that said, we here at the Talon would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to the anonymous donors who pledged money to help pay for this site.
This site isn’t costly but it isn’t free either. I would like to think that with just a few advertisers and donors it might be possible to maintain this site without any taxpayer assistance just like businesses do in the “real world.”
Your contributions are helping to keep student journalism alive! Even a few dollars will go a long way toward helping to build a journalistic culture comprised of student stories, photographs, and video.
Any monies we receive will be used exclusively for this site and if one day our donations exceed costs we will funnel the remainder towards a Talon staff luncheon/banquet.
Again, these donations are unexpected but greatly appreciated! Thank you!–William Van Lannen.
P.S. A quick shout out to those students who contribute to this site by producing content outside of class and without credit. You bring glory upon yourself and the school community. We salute you!
