Olivia Davis will take to the hardwood one more time as a Falcon this summer, as she was chosen for the 2025 All-Star Game, which is hosted by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
“It feels amazing!” Davis said about the nomination. “I knew going into this that there are a lot of other talented girls wanting to be selected. I am just very grateful that I was picked to play in this game.”
“I think being selected to the WBCA game is a great accomplishment for Olivia and she deserves it,” Amherst Head Girls Basketball Coach Adam Miller said. “I know how hard she worked for me this year and she put in the extra time as well when no one else was looking and that’s what an All-Star does.”
Davis, a senior at Amherst, averaged 10 points and six rebounds per game, while also gathering 20 assists and 43 steals on the year. Davis also averaged 64% from the free throw line and 23% from beyond the arch. Her work on the court gave her Honorable Mention All-Conference in the Central Wisconsin Conference – East.
“It was very sad playing our last game. There were high emotions in Freedom and I thought that was it for my career. When Mr. Miller told me he sent in an application for me for the All-Star game, I was really happy because I really miss it. I am excited to play this summer!”
Davis will get to play with some of the best players from across the state of Wisconsin, as coaches submit nominations to the WBCA for consideration.
“You have to be a senior, your coach has to be a member of the WBCA, and the coach has to nominate the player,” Miller said about the qualifications to be selected. “I have been fortunate to have 3 past players be selected that I coached [and] was also fortunate when I was selected to coach in 2020 but did not get to because of Covid.”
Miller said that he is proud of the work Davis put in her senior year, and the leadership she brought.

“We had a goal this year to win one playoff game and we did that. Our team got better throughout the year and Olivia led our team. That last game against Freedom she gave everything she had and then some. Now she gets to put on that All-Star jersey and represent her high school team one last time and I have no doubt she will put on a show. I am so proud of her and I cannot wait to watch her in the game.”
Proceeds of the All-Star Game will go towards multiple charities within the state of Wisconsin.
“We make an online fundraising profile to raise money for multiple different charities: Garding against cancer, MACC fund, Ronald McDonald House, Easter Seals, and Hometown Heroes,” Davis said. “Any donation is a huge help and will make a great impact, and there will be a link on my social media that will take you directly to my page to donate.”
The 2025 WBCA All-Star Games are June 25-26 at JustAGame Fieldhouse in Wisconsin Dells.
