Elliana Maxwell is not one to stray away from the grim or the weird. But at the same time, she’s a fairly simple person. She enjoys occasionally reading or drawing, meanwhile she wants to study mortuary science in college.
Maxwell, 17, respects the work mortuary workers do for the dead. As of this moment, she’d most likely go to a college in Chicago for her studies. In fact, she enjoys Chicago a lot. Whether it’s the general aesthetic of the city or the beautiful sights to see, Elli wants to be there.
“I would more so like to work on the back end of it. More so, embalming bodies,” Elliana said.
She really likes hanging out with friends, and her favorite book is the violent horror book: Playground.
Her dream job in the future is doing nothing while still getting money, while her current self is collecting dog teeth from her old dog. She currently has two.
Now, as a senior in high school, life is coming up fast. But the great thing about Elliana is the fact that she enjoys the small things of it. Music, like the songs of James Marriott. Spiderman, reading, sparkly rocks, drawing, rats, and all sorts of lovely things life has to offer. It’s pretty easy to get a clear view of Elliana as a person from these, one would think. But obviously you’ll have to dive a bit deeper to truly get who she is.
Overall, Elliana Maxwell is an enjoyer of all that creepy stuff the average person might back away from with a grimace on their face. But at the same time, Elli is an average person herself. Dreams of comfort, hopes for a job they respect, and a place that they can call home with all the excitement one needs in life. To tie off the journey of showing who Elliana is as a person, here’s a quote of Elli giving her fondest memory of school:
“I like, like before and after gym.” Fair enough, Elliana. Fair enough.
