As a new yearbook editor, Tess Jeske is spending her senior year making sure photos, publications, and pages come together into something memorable. Jeske’s favorite part about yearbook is her ability to share her creative ideas through her pages and stories.
“Yearbook helps my confidence,” said Jeske. She said she’s happy she has found something she is not only good at, but also passionate about. Being an editor isn’t easy, she has to redo any pages that aren’t completely right, correct any typos, and make sure everyone has a place in the yearbook, all within a strict deadline. But Tess does everything she can to make it happen.
Jeske is known for her dedication and positive energy even when under lots of stress and pressure. Because of yearbook, Tess has become more outgoing and has now made many new friends.
Jeske will fall back on her many diverse interests as she prepares the yearbook. Some of her interests include listening to music, swimming, and reading. She said summer break is the one time she is able to relax and take time to herself.
Whether Jeske is preparing pages for our school’s yearbook or pursuing her other interest, her passion and dedication shows in anything she does. The hard work and positivity she adds to yearbook makes her a valuable member of the team. Jeske’s enthusiasm is inspiring and admirable. By combining dedication and creativity, Tess has shown that a yearbook is more than just pages with pictures – it’s something that brings us together and makes sure our high school experience is something we will remember forever.
