Finn Schoepke is a daring 17-year-old lad who enjoys doing spontaneous things like flying alone, attending concerts and even cliff jumping. 

Schoepke even lost his hearing for a couple weeks due to his daring actions from cliff jumping. Back in June of 2025, Schoepke and his sister Amelie flew to Arizona alone for the first time ever. They headed to Phoenix to visit his aunt, uncle and cousins. There he and his sister stayed for a week where they had plans to go shopping, go to a concert and even jump off cliffs. 

His first day there he woke up bright and early to make the 2 hour drive to the lake. From there they had to walk over 45 minutes in the thick of the summer heat to reach the cliffs. He remarked that he was only “a little scared” to take on the cliffs. He started off slow with the 15-foot cliffs and then he eventually made his way up to the 25-foot cliffs. Since he was cliff jumping into a lake, he didn’t have to use any gear. Due to the change in pressure from jumping off the cliffs, he explained he felt “excruciating pain in his ears, making him almost deaf.” 

This was very unfortunate because he had plans to go to a Pixie concert the next day. Despite being in pain and not really being able to hear, he still went to the concert. He was very excited because it was his first concert and he had special tickets in the pit right next to the stage. The lady that sat right next to him even passed out due to being so overwhelmed from everything. This scared him because it looked as if she had stopped breathing. Besides seeing the women pass out, he really enjoyed the concert.

For his last day in Arizona him and his cousins went shopping at the mall. He almost bought a $400 cologne, but ended up not because his card declined unfortunately. After the mall, he and his sister made the flight home back to Amherst Wisconsin. Overall, Schoepke had a very eventful and fun trip to Phoenix Arizona.
