It’s everyone’s favorite day of exploration in Local History! Students followed Mr. Kurzynski on a tour of the school’s tunnels, air-handlers, and now-covered once-exterior windows. Students located the footprint of the now-demolished 1923 Amherst High School. They also found clues to the location of the first Industrial Arts Annex and the Music Building which have since been connected to form our current structure. (Thank you, Mr. Kursynski for helping us visualize high school life as it was!)
