Character Sketch
Jaren, also known as Ja, is one of my best friends. Jaren is a very unique human being who loves a good time. He’s tall and lengthy like a stick bug, standing at about 6ft. 3in. Jaren has ocean blue eyes. He has a little squint when he smiles just like me. Jaren isn’t the most athletic but he can move when he needs to especially if he is trying to get his threes. His pasty white skin can be blinding if he doesn’t see the sun for a few days. Jaren has brown, straight, and fluffy hair. Jaren will sometimes be seen faded up by his favorite barbershop Modified Cuts. Jaren will most likely be rocking his mustache. Jaren will always have a chain around his neck, or as Jaren would say his ice. Jaren loves to wear his Nike tech and is always wearing sweatpants.
Jaren is a very goofy and silly guy. He is always fun to be around. Jaren is rarely serious and is always making jokes. Whether we are trying to learn a drill in practice or in class Jaren will always have an out of pocket joke to make. Jaren is also a great basketball player. His length makes his shot very hard to guard. His jump shot is smooth like butter. Jaren works really hard in basketball and has put a lot of time and effort into the sport. Jaren is always there for his friends and will always stick up for them. Me and Jaren both love Rod Wave, so when we carpool together in Jaren’s beamer he will always be screaming the lyrics to a Rod song.
Jaren has been blessed with the voice of an angel. Many people don’t know Jaren can sing but if you put on the right song Jaren might bless your ears with the sound of his voice. Only a select few people have heard Jaren’s real voice.
Me and Jaren have become great friends throughout the years of high school. Basketball is our main connection seeing each other every day during the season at practice and in the summer we always see each other in open gyms. We’re always laughing with each other and making jokes. We hang out all the time, whether it’s going out to eat with friends, playing basketball together, or watching a sports game at a friend’s house.
Jaren means a lot to me. Jaren has been a good friend all throughout high school. He has got me through some tough classes and some tough practices. Jaren always wants to have me around. He is always begging for me to come to basketball games or out to eat with him. He makes me feel wanted, which I really like about him. Jaren has taught me to appreciate the time I have with my friends. When I spend a lot of time with Jaren I take for granted having him around. Jaren has also taught me what it is like to be in a relationship. Jaren has been dating his girlfriend Tatum for over a year now. Me being the third wheel sometimes I get to see their relationship from an outside perspective.
