Autumn In My Eyes
The leaves
The turkey
The orange and red
The chill
The pumpkins
The tricky Halloween
The spice
The school time
The soon to be snow
The change
The apples
The autumn in my eyes

Halloween Is Dead
Trick-or-treaters disappear,
Despite the Autumn night air.
For there is no fear,
And what’s left is despair.
No children to hand candy,
Not a costume in sight.
Streets are empty as can be,
Now that’s a real fright.
They’re out trunk-or-treating,
Or buying candy on their own.
No smiling faces to be meeting,
This Halloween feels alone.
Halloween is dead,
All the creatures are too.
The night shall celebrate instead,
And so should you.
