We graciously acknowledge those who have anonymously contributed to the Talon, our student online newsmagazine. These donated funds enable us to maintain this website without having to rely on additional taxpayer monies. It is heartening to know there are people in the public who appreciate the craft of journalism as practiced by our students, budding journalists, and various content creators across the multi-media spectrum. Hundreds of stories and thousands of photographs have been produced annually since the Talon’s launch nearly five years ago. A digital publication such as the Talon remains a cost effective way to promote student reporters, and generous gifts from the public further strengthen our collective resolve as we mark this publication’s 5th anniversary in the fall.
