She died at the age of 33 years old. She was caring for my little brother at the time she passed away. My aunt and my mom were really close; they were like sisters. The day of my mom’s funeral I called them a week before her funeral and asked my aunt and uncle if they wanted to come to her funeral. My mom was just not my parent, she was my best friend my rock my glue when I was broken she put me back together. Now I live with my aunt and uncle. They are the ones who took me in. They made a promise to my mom before she died that they will do anything for me and my sister. Without them I don’t know what I would do. I wear my mom around my neck.
