Amherst was certainly ready to prevail on this latest oil pattern. It proved to everybody in the D-9 that Amherst is not a team to be messed with. The team has soared through the competition, throwing down anybody standing in the way.
The team really had to work together, proving they are a team that nobody is ready for. They were able to power through the rough transition of lanes and create a better opportunity to keep pounding nails into the coffin. Amherst averaged 193 against Rhinelander and averaged a 198 against Marathon.
The team hopes to keep this streak alive to stay undefeated going into the final two matches of the year. Amherst hopes to qualify for State 10-0 and show Antigo they are a better team on February 1.
